I have been looking at used duramaxes for my wife. I have found a few 2003's that I like, and I wonder if there are some things I should be looking for. They all look and drive nice, and from what I can tell there is nothing wrong with them.


I have allot of experience with Dodge/Cummins trucks, and I know there are things you can look for on those used trucks to see if they have been abused, modified, or had major work done of certain critical components. I am hoping to get some input from some seasoned chevy/GMC/Duramax/Allison guys.
