Hey guys, I know that we all use our trucks differently and for different purposes. I have an 03 as listed in my sig and its my first diesel and I love it. I don't know much about the new LLY and haven't looked into it much as im currently satisfied. The thing is I am thinking about going with a solid-axle swap D60 and going a bit higher. I know it is gonna be really expensive but in the long run will pay off for me. I am just trying to decide whether to sell the truck with current mods and get an 05 LLY to start with first. I only have 25000 miles on the truck but will lose alot yanking the lift and shocks out and selling them used so that is why im tryin to decide. Do you guys think that the LB7 is a proven package and worth having for the next 5-8 years or should I go with the LLY and rely on it for the next 5-8. Any comments or suggestions are appreciated. If it were me, I would keep the LB7. Alot of owners that have the LLY are having numerous problems-not everyone. I would be happy with what I had, but you are not me. No punn intended to the LLY owners.
