i just put a CAI on my LLY duramax and i can really hear the air being sucked in alot more and also the turbo is louder, but i thought id hear a turbo bark when i let off, but I dont. With installing this intake, you dont have to remove the air box on top of the tb, u know, the thing that says 6.6 liter duramax diesel. Im assuming that box takes in the air that is discharged by the turbo when u let off the throttle. If thats the case, if I remove that box and plug the hole, will it harm anything or be worth anymore power, or is it just something to grab more attention. Also would it be worth installing a BOV or diverter valve?
