I just got my 05 dmax. I got cloth seats this time instead of leather because my 01 leather was cracking on the corner of drivers seat on the door side. I put leather cream on a lot and it did not seem to make a difference. I have a universal camo seat cover but the seat belt is covered up because it comes out of the seat. I am looking for a cover to use that i can still use the seat belt. I have found some (Wet Kole) but they are real expensive. I was looking for a cheaper idea. Any ideas anyone?http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif

Well, they're not exactly cheap, but they're the ultimate seat covers in my opinion!

Check out www.marathonseatcovers.com (http://www.marathonseatcovers.com).

They are located approximately a mile from my house and do an excellent job. I opted for the Cordura "SuperHides" covers because they wear like iron and are easy to clean up. They're not something you'd probably see at a hot rod show, but they're very practical. I couldn't be happier with mine. My dad has the Marathon covers made from the actual GM seat cloth material shown on their website. They also work out very well and look like they came from the factory if you like that option. Hope this helps!

Very good customer service, quality and fast/accurrate order processing. You can get custom embroidery if you desire a custom cover. Fit is perfect and easy to pop in the washer and dryer.

Another vote for the Covercraft seat savers. They fit like a glove and offer excellent protection. If you are interested in a set, please let me know.

i am interested do you have any idea what it would cost for my two front bucket seats. How do they work with the seat belt being in the seat itself. Do you have to take the seat apart to put them on or what. Thanks for the info much apperciated.

Check these out I think these are the best covers. They are a thick jean type cover. This is my second set I had them in my Z71 also.

can anyone post pictures of newer model buckets with these covers? preferably the marathon covers cause thats what im leaning towards. i would really like to see how they fit though since it says all sales are final. i have the buckets with seat belt in the seat, which leads to my other question - how do they install with the seat belt in seat? thanks guys!

You are able to function the seat belt completely. The covers have an industrial-type velcro on the side which allows the covers to go under the seat belt.

In my opinion, these are the best covers available for a truck application. I'm sure that others out there are good, but Marathon is a local place that is very good to work with. I realize that their sales are final, but I seriously doubt that you'd be disappointed. I put mine on myself, and they haven't ever needed readjusting. These covers stay in place!
