has anyone heard a straightpiped lbz? i have a bully dog turbo back and it is super qiuet!

What is the hang up with some people and a loud exhaust? I always thought that was the great thing about a Duramax, was how quiet they are. Loud pipes on a daily driver just doesn't makes sense in my opinion. I mean if it's a puller or drag truck, I can see wanting the little extra power gain, for balls to the wall performance, but to drive every day? A good tuned exhaust system will perform just as well on a street machine, and actually give you better mileage. A certain amount of exhaust back pressure is very beneficial. Just my two Lincolns and it does account for a hill of beans.

But to answer your question, people straight pipe all the time, have fun, and invest in a big stereo.
