I was searching through some old posts and found one from BMDMAX, he sounded happy, has anyone else used them? I had them on my old 1500 Silverado and they did work good, this big truck seems to have a bit of wheel hop sometimes, these should help out a bit. Has anyone ever had problems?

I knew a guy who had these on his Avalanche 2500 and he really liked the way they work. If I was to choose between these and air bags, I would go air bags because of the adjustability. The best of both worlds would be to have both.

This may or may not help. I put a pair of Roadmaster Active Suspension springs on my Dodge minivan and was very impressed with how well they worked. I can't see why they wouldn't work on our trucks. Those in need of a bit more spring should give them serious consideration.

I installed mine at the beginning of this Summer. They have reduced (not eliminated) the wheel hop that I experience on those secondary roads where they fill the same pot hole 10X over...or the ones they never get around to. They have also reduced (not eliminated) the porpoising that I some times experience while towing my 34' trailer.

I'd recommend them.

I put on a set last year and then took them off. Just like everything else, some things solve different problems. I was trying to improve my loaded ride quality (trailer 1250# tongue, 400# bike loader and 900# bike). I already had air bags installed. The Roadmaster did not help ride quality. I did not notice any difference at all when pulling loaded. The only difference I noticed was a significant reduction in wheel hop when unloaded and running WOT from a stop light on a rough road. For me they weren't worth the money. Just my $.02.
