I am serving in Iraq and bought a 2004 2500 HD CC D/A, well my wife bought it and it is sitting in my driveway waiting for me. Can someone who lives in Central Arkansas let me know what diesel prices are around there. Or let me know if there is a website that I can check. My wife doesn't pay attention to that unless she is putting fuel in it. She has already made the first payment and has not filled it up yet.

I don't how central you are talking about but I can get it for $1.78. That is about as cheap as I have seen it here in Conway.

I live in Conway, so that is as central as I need. I was just curious as to what the cost was. I am sure it will change by the time I get home in Nov. My mom said it is $1.54 in STL.

Check out the Flying J web site. They update it every day. It shows three locations for AR, plus the rest of the county. In my part of the country, the J is about 20 cents cheaper than the local service stations.

Use the "Car/RV Diesel" column. This is adjusted for automobile road taxes, which may vary from what the big boys pay.

In IL diesel is floating around $1.99 a gal. Found it in IN for $1.79
