Thinking about installing a Banks 4" Cat-Back System on my Dually. Anyone have any experience with this system? The main thing I'm looking for is lower EGT temps while towing. Banks claims a 5 - 8% reduction in EGT on a stock D/A. I also want to maintain my nice quiet interior at cruise speed, which is 75 -80 mph on Arizona freeways. I tow a 5th wheel weighing approximately 12,000 pounds over some 16 mile long 6% grades. I already have an appointment with Banks to get the gauges installed and was considering their exhaust at the same time.

I can't tell you about lower EGT's as the budget hasn't allowed for gauges yet. But the Banks cat-back works well for me. Mild sound inside the cab at some speeds but not noticeable if the radio is on. I pull loads up to 22K at times without any problems. I'd buy it again.

no probs here slightly louder outside when u get on it but other than that super quiet inside the cab and super ez to install

I'd buy one again, love mine. Nice sound, nothing loud at all. Fit and finish was top notch. Install was a breeze.

I have the Banks monster, wish it had more of a sound, but to eachs own I suppose
