Seems my fuel lines have suffered from terminal cancer..

Was working on the cars today.. and noticed a big spot under the truck..

This explains how i could never bleed out the air from the filter.. it was being sucked in before the lift pump.

So.. how hard is it to change the lines? it was pretty dark out last night be the time i checked it out..

It would be a job, but you should be able to do it yourself. Find the leak and make sure it's not on a rubber section of the fuel line.

There is an o-ring seal on the inlet/outlet of the supply pump that can leak. unbolting and replacing a segment of line isn't that bad, they will be a little hard to break loose, no doubt they will be rusted on ya.

If the leak is in one of the steel lines, perhaps you could remove that segment of line, cut it at the break and clean it up with a wire brush, then slide a rubber hose over both ends to rejoin them.

Any takers on epoxy? Turn that afternoon job into a quicky? That is of course, depending upon where exactly the leak is at.
