I am just going to loan a friend of mine my juice/ attitude for a vacation pulling his trailer. He wants to see how it does as he is interested in one for himself. He isn't going to put the egt probe in as he will only go to level 3 which we heard here it should be OK. I have a couple questions.

1. When we unplug the juice do all the settings go back to default settings?

2. Since he is also using the attitude I assume he can reprogram it in side the truck cab. I also assume it will program with out the probe hooked up, or will the probe not being installed affect being able to reprogram it? If he chooses can he set it on level 5 with out the probe installed? We are aware of high egt so he isn't going to do it, but we are just wondering.

Thanks Terry

You can remove it with no ill effects on your truck. The monitor can be used to cycle throught the different levels etc. However i STRONGLY advise against running it in level 3 when towing with no way to monitor EGT's and a stock trans. Likely, there will be no issue, but if there is, you aint gonna know until after the fact. L2 would be sufficent IMO.

Other then that, you better start shopping for another box, cause he aint gonna wanna give that one backhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif
