The Stealer I got my truck from has NOW agreed to pay for his f-up with my truck... He's agreed to service the tranny also!
My question is: Do I have them pull the pan and change the internal filter OR just the external filter and fluid?
OH my truck has 300 miles... But it sat on the lot for about a year!
HELP!!! Thanks:D

I dont know or remember yoru exact case, but know your talking about the transmission. Assuming your stealer put in the wrong fluid???? If so theyd be draining EVERYTHING on my truck everything including trans cooler and lines and refilling w/trans synd(sincde they are paying for it). Also, everything msut be well documented if something should happen down the road.

Hey Tuney...
Thanks for chimin' in... you always give it to me straight... THANKS!
Well... the Stealer said they were going to change the oil and never did... the front and rear diff are low... so I called them and chewed a--...
I have them paying for the oil change, front and rear diff, grease, fuel filter, AND now the trans... I think I'd be best served to do the fluid and the external filter... I really dont want them pulling the pan... I was a bit concerned about condensation...
Thanks

I'm sorry--should have remembered.I have CRS you know.:) Why don't you pull your plug out very slowly after your truck has sat for a while.Look fast and close to see if there's water before the ATF starts pouring. If it's not there, just have them change your external filter. My bet would be that you don't have any condensation.Do remember to ask for your platinum card though.:D
