finally got some clips of my exhaust buy on my video camera they play and then i put the mini dvd in my computer and it thinks the dvd is blank...any1?

Does it need to be finalized before you can read the disk with your computer? Maybe you could transfer the video with a USB cable.

If its like mine, I think it has to be finalized first. Even with the USB cabel it still doesn't work on mine. I have come the conclusion that it has to be finalized before it can be read on the computer. I personally think this is rediculous. Isn't the whole point of having digital cameras, and digital video cameras to be able to view what you take immediately, and make it easier to go about doing things. The true winners in all of this are the companies that make the small dvd discs. If you really want to upload what you did bad enough, you will just finalize the disc, whether it has 20minutes left on it or 20 seconds. They on the other hand just keep pocketing the money that you waste because you can't upload without finalizing the disc, and have to keep buying new ones.

the finalize button isnt lit up... i was supposed to initialize the disc before using it... ahhh that means all the clips i took are useless, alright ill re do them all i guess

how do i change my name in the video log in thing on the forums

Is the video thing up and running again? I know there for a while it was down and no one was able to upload videos.
