im getting ready for my build, im trying to find a short block some where where i dont have to do this all at once but if not im using mine. What would i need to do with these rods to achieve maximum performance, im adding dual pumps, street cam, is head work necessary, i still want to drive it alot and just want a 11 sec truck that will hold up. this is why i havent put my dual pumps onb/c im scared of the rod carnage. are these rods drop in fit what needs to be checked after install, clearances, etc.Any info would be useful. thanks brett

The TTS Rods are a drop in parts for a Duramax engine. No modifications are necessary.

New bearings a very good idea. Even with low mileage engines as the aftermarket rods will not give the bearing the same crush as the OEM rods.
