Is their anything you can do to the stock intake that will help performance?Such as holes in the airbox holder?Im new to the board so give me a break if this has already been discussed already!

Thanks

Is there much turbo whistle with the Volant? I'm switching my K&N for the Volant, and I'd like to have more whistle but I'm thinking it will be quietier with the enclosed box. Maybe if I take the tinfoil off of the fender I'll get more....

you could get a fiberglass hood or just take the hood off completely http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Approve.gif air filters dont make a huge difference in sound IMHO . Changing your air box would.Edited by: blowinsmoke

The AFE 2 is about the loudest that I've heard. I have the 1 on at present, and it's not too loud.

The plastic tube must quiet the whistle more than metal. Either way, the Volant looks like a quality piece. It will be going on soon.
