Pads and rotors? Or is there a better aftermarket brand?

I haven't found a better brand for pads and I get them at the stealership. For rotors, my dealer offers "Quality Brand" (that's really the manufacturer) generic rotors and I have never had a single complaint.

If you're asking this question, is there something in particular about your current setup, performance or wear wise??????

Is there a cheaper place to get them than the stealer?

Define cheaper. I spend on average $100 for a set of AC Delco pads that serve anywhere from 40k to 110k miles on a truck problem free. Any other brand I've tried from the aftermarket squeals, squeaks, grabs, sheds too much dust, wears out early, or unbonds from the backing plates. It sounds like a lot of money for pads, but the comeback labor (for noise, vibration, or dust) eats up any money I saved up front in parts.

With that said, I have a question.
Where can I buy Genuine AC Delco pads the same day, in stock for less?

BTW, my ADVANCE Auto Parts can usually get anything ACDelco next day for me, but I don't usually get the 2nd day to wait for parts. And when I only do brakes every 40 to 110k miles, I'm afraid of stocking them for fear of never using them.

And believe when I say, I would rather not spend any money at the dealer.

Do a search for GM Power Slot Rotors. There sold by a vendor here and they recommend Hawk pads. Put them on my truck this past W/E and so far they are OK. Can't say great yet. Not enough run time. I'll be able to tell more after I've ran them for a while.

SSBC rotors direct; http://www.stainlesssteelbrakes.com/ $502 shipped, and

Hawk LTS pads from DPPI; http://www.dieselperformanceparts.com/ (PM Mark Craig for prices),

just did them both on my truck.
