i hit the ditch last weekend into a snowed in field. good thing there wasnt a snow bank and i didnt hit it extremely hard i dont think. but now i notice my truck pulls left really hard if i keep the wheel straight. i hafto turn it and hold it quite a bit to the right to go straight. truck has green keys and torsion bars cranked quite high. i hope i wouldnt have wrecked or bent anything...maybe just bumped something out of allignment? any ideas what this probably is? would this be an easy fix?

most likely something is just out of alignment, take it to get one and see what they say, hopefully thas all that is needed.
I think you bent somthing! but the alignment shop will let you know! Z

I'll second z71; sounds like alignment, but you'll know when you take it in $59.95 at the chevy dealer for alignment.

Sounds like an alignment problem to me. I doubt you bent anything but if you did it would be something simple like a tie rod.

I have had this happen from the cam locks coming loose and shifting. I have also bent a centerlink and worn out the idler and pitman arms, all of which caused the same problem. It could also be the idler mount tabs or the steering gear. I would get under there and take a look.....

Most likely just need an alignment. If you did bend something it won't be the frame and the alignment shop will let you know what you bent.

The dealer sure will though; any chance to make a dime.

Got that right. I was out of town working when my truck needed some repairs. Not my local area so the dealer was my only option. Cost me 1500 Canadian for a clutch-master cylinder, slave cylinder, and the hydraulic pipe that goes with it. Probably could have had the work done for half the price if I'd been at home. I wasn't angry that the parts went as they were still original on a 22 y/o truck. I was just mad as he!! about the price.
