What is the most back space anyone has had success with on a 16" wheel? I dont want the tires sticking way out there in the front. I am planning 16X8 or maybe 17X8 with 265's. I like the H2's but I do not want to worry about the strength of the H2's when pulling my fiver.

I installed a set of 20"x8.5" wheels with a 10 mm positive offset. My wheels don't stick out. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif

I went with 20" X 10" with a neg 25mm offset and yes they stick out a bit. Kills a clean truck real fast if you hit a puddle.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Geek.gif

Does anyone know what the stock wheel offset is?

5.5 i belive is stock, dont think you can go much lower than 4.5, with a 285 tire anyways. a 265 im sure you could go down to 3.75 but they'll stick way out. not sure what your question is since the stock wheels will fit a 265 perfectly. the less the backspacing the more they stick out and the smaller the tire your able to run. more backspacing you can run a bigger tire.
