Sunday I install a new AFE stage II intake on my 06 lbz. After taking it around the block to see it in action, I found that I had done a good job and it worked and sounded great. Today as I drove it like a hot rod to the local off road shop to get a blocker & finger kit, the check engine light came on. The shop ran the code and it was an EGR code, no worries. Went back and messed with the blocker plate for a while, which isn’t that hard if you get the right kit. So I decided to put my 4in turbo back MBRP exhaust on instead, I already had the code right. Finished that sounds great!! So on my way back to the off road shop, as I drove it like I stole it to get my money back for the bum kit, the check engine light went out. I drove her for another 30 miles or so and it is still off, and it is still off as it sits in the drive way. Does this make sense to anyone? I still put the right kit on order but this makes no sense. Or does it? Please let me know what you think. Thanks
