also have the rough idle, and bad fuel economy

Have it checked out by the dealer. When mine was stock I could not really get it to smoke at all and mine idles smoooooth. As for bad fuel millage, we are all getting poor service there, somewhere around 14 to 15 MPG in town and a bit better on the road. Let us know what the dealer finds out.

I have an LLY in now with similer situation, black smoke, runs rough. No mention of poor fuel economy. No 2 injector balance rate is 15.0http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif
