What do we suggest? Man, Did you open up a can of worms! Seriously though, My suggestion is to read, read, read. You'll find that just about everything is being ran here so you'll have to make that call on your own. What do you use it for? what do you plan on using it for? Do you want it upgradeable after you do the trans? Their are probably more questions than answers! Good luck.

Quick and easy plug-n-play power is an Edge Juice/Attitude away.

Like baimpala said, you can run Edge/Attitude or if you want something that you can use like a programmer I would suggest Bully Dog or Predator (I think they have an LLY programmer).. Good luck....READ READ READ and then when you are done and have made up your mind, READ AGAIN...http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

Without any upgrade on the tranny, DO NOT run over 100hp setting on any chip or programmer.

They've got some power increases for the '05's, that would suggest programming changes to the ECM for the '05.

I don't recall seeing anyone who's tried an '04 Edge or anything on an '05...http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Geek.gif

So there might not be anything available yet...http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cry.gif

Well, I run on Level 3 Empty, probably level 1 towing (haven't towed yet with Juice). I have low boost fueling set on 5, and I am set to defuel all locked shifts.

When I upgrade the tranny, Level 5, no defuel, low boost 5.

When you do, you will not believe the power that the edge is backing off in the defuel setting. A modded tranny makes a huge difference.....

Oh, I already believe it. I can feel a BIG defuel when shifting now. It's such a temptation to use level 5 no defuel, but I just don't want to blow the tranny up (it'd be just my luck) and then be too far away from Eric to have him do the fix. Don't know anyone here that I would trust to do anything to my truck, don't see to many diesels. Next Summer is a long way offhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cry.gif

I hear ya baimpala....don't know too many people working on the allision coming from the dodge camp. Not gonna trust just anyone to my truck. Anyway....got to ride in a dmax with a suncoast lvl3 with edge on 5 and no defuel...all I can say is it is night and day!
