I have a '95 chevy duelly 6.5 TD. The engine is new (insurance claim). I want a little more power. sometime pulling the trailer gets a little sluggish. Add'l info 5spd. tranny, 4wd, extened cab, I pull the trailer daily for work. It's a real pretty truck, just want it to go a little quicker.

lunicy,

The first thing I'd do is the exhaust.

Upgrade the downpipe to 3" or 3 1/2" mandrel bent pipe, gut the CAT and 4" the rest of the way.

Lunicy,

I recommend TDG's optical sensor "bump". It takes about 15 minutes and costs nothing. It will increase fuel response, A noticable advance in timing and potentially help it run a little cooler.

do a search on "optical sensor"

And guages, You will want a pyrometer and boost guage to "guage" the results of the mods you want to make.

Put your truck discription and mods in your signature so poeple will know your truck without having to describe it over and over. Edited by: quantum mechanic
