Ok so I'm putting on my nerf bars tonite. Should I use threadlocker when I replace the body mount bolts?
Thanks

Yes!

Your truck won't fall apart if you lose one of the bolts, but it's cheap insurance to make sure you don't.

Id personally use nylong stop nuts, w/antiseize, so it doenst vibrate apart, but you can get it apart in the future.

This is a good idea. Or you can use threadlocker, it may be easier to find. Just dont use red so that its easy to get them apart if you ever have to.

IIRC, there was blue threadlock on the OEM bolts, so it would be a good idea to put some on the new ones.

It don't work that way. You remove the body bolts and replace them with longer bolts to hold the bars. No nuts involved.
