Hey guys and gals,
I'm pretty new to the whole diesel thing but I am loving it so far. I have had my LBZ for almost a year now everything is still stock, and I am ready to make some upgrades. I have been told the EFI Live is the best way to go with tuning, but I was wondering what everyone else thought. I am pretty good with computers but from what I have seen it looks a little complicated, is it idiot proof?

You will love it. Had mine for a couple of weeks and already have a lot of tunes but it does take time and actually testing what you ceate also takes time and miles.

It's not idiot proof but if you do some research there is a lot of info that will help you keep parameters such as timing in check so you don't do damage to the motor. You can also download tunes from the site and compare your stock file to what others have done to make more power or get better economy. That's probably the fastest way to get started. Logging data is also very important to see what changes might need to be done to your tune to fix something you don't like. You are welcome to ask questions also. There are a lot of members who are very helpful on this site.
