I have a 04, crewcab, 4X4 (LB7) with 24,950 miles. I have had a loss in MPG and power, more so towing a trailer. My fuel used gauge in the trip meter is also off, as much as 15%(low). I have a cold air induction kit with the oiled air cleaner. I don't know if I now have a problem with the Mass Air Flow sensor due to the oiled air cleaner. 5 injectors were replaced 4 months ago and it was a little better. No codes are showing. What would the indications be if there was oil on the sensor?

Take out your Sensor and clean it with "NON RESIDUE" Electrical contact cleaner. Let it air dry and see if that helps, it should.

Its a good thing to do if you are running a CAI with the oil type filters. Sometimes people oil just a little too much.

Never had a problem with mine.
