My father inlaw has a 2001 duramax and his service light came on. He has a super chip tuner and when he pulled the code it say over boost. He has also been have the truck go in a limp mode when pulling up hill. Does anyone have any ideas what is going on and what cause the over boost code? Can he just reset it or what?

Yes it can be reset but if the tuner is causing the overboost then it will repeat.Return to stock and see if problem repeats.
