Try going into the supporting vendor area in this forum. Look for AMSOIL-Lube Specialist (http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/vendor_redirect.php?id=4) (or use this link if it is good). When you open the site, go to "Online Store", then GM 6.2/6.5 area. There is a complete kit there with very nice lines, all the fittings and a new cooler. It is rather expensive, but probably money well spent. It replaces all of the weak points in the system. I got one a few week ago, but have not installed yet. I ended up replacing my existing tranny cooler with the Tru-Cool M7B that came with the kit. I have ordered a new M7B for the oil cooler set-up. If you can find good lines for the oil cooler, all of the fittings are available at hardware stores to deal with stock system issues.

For the connection of the old tranny cooler lines to the new tranny cooler, I used 1/2NPT to 3/8NPT bushings. The stock oil cooler may be 3/8NPT, too.

I got replacements from Napa . I think both cost total $90 . Get extra clips too .
I did mine when I replaced the cross over pipe and its still a pain in the arse ! Did I mention it was 15 degrees outside !!!!

I went into the GM dealer today and asked about new Oil Cooler lines, just because of this thread.

Ahem ... according to GM Canada, the lines are $125 + GST each. So that's $250 for the pair.

After I picked my a$$ up off the ground, I asked (curiousity ... cat) how much they wanted to install them.

Minimum 1.5 hrs labour. That's about another $150.

I'm thinking the lubespecialist kit is better and better-looking all the time.

I can't say enough good things about the Greg's kit. It is well made and when I had a question about the installation, Greg answered my call even though he was headed out the door to a trade show.

He also made sure I got the kit I needed as he hadn't had many installs on 1994 trucks. I took digital pictures and sent them to him to verify his kit would work.

All in all, great kit.

I hear yo on the dealer thing !

I called to price them and when he said how much they wanted I couldnt beleive it !
I said " Are you friggin kidding me ! "

To which he replied " Sir , I learned along time ago to never kid about prices ! "

Thats why I got them at NAPA , doesnt hurt that the guy working there has owned the identicle truck to mine .
