I really like the look of the stacks but would also like some more noise. Would the stacks be alot louder in the cab? I would like to remove the cat but do not want to take a chance on voiding my warranty. They have to prove that removing the cat did damage or caused a part to fail, and then only the part that was affected by removing the cat can be denied. bo799 03-10-2007, 10:41 PM Your dealer cannot "void your warranty" for removing the cat. I know this but I talked to the service manager and that is what he told me. That means he is not on my side and I will have to go fight it with GM and not my dealer. I am trying to last as long as I can I guess. Papuller86 03-10-2007, 11:14 PM i kinda got the same answer when it came to the cat, but not from the dearership, i bought a banks exhaust but still wanted to remove the cat so i want to a local muffler shop to c if he could just cut out the cat and put a pipe in place, he said he would not do it that it could void my warranty, if that is what caused the prob, it has to do with all this emmisions B.S.
