Attitude Ver. 1.4i, 2002 GMC D/A.


System appears to mis-read engine temperature and goes into over-temp. alert whenever I'm towing up a long hill, even tho my dash temp gauge indicates normal temp.


I've tried to turn off the alert function but when I turn the system off then back on again it always comes alive with the alerts turned back on. I've also tried to increase the engine temp alert setting but it always returns to 210 deg. after turning off then back on.


What am I missing? Is there an extra set-up step required to make changes stick? I can't find anything in the Instructions.

You might want to talk to Edge about getting your unit upgraded. Not sure that is what is causing it but might help and you will have all the updates in your system. Just a thought. Also you might want to check the connections under the hood and make sure all the pins are straight and connected properly.. Then go from there....Good luck

I'd definitely call Edge, it sounds like there is a problem with your unit.
