jeredlee 03-09-2007, 03:12 AM i just got a turbo back exhaust for my 05 duramax and befor i put it on i need to know by puting this system on will it make my truck throw any codes and if so what do i need so it wont i have herd of blocker plates and finger sticks but dont know what they are and what they do kc steve 03-09-2007, 08:00 AM I have an 05' LLY which I just put a 4" cat back (and subsequnetly cat delete pipe) on a couple of weeks ago. No CEL's but have not checked for silent codes, will do this weekend with. Do a search as I have drafted (although it has not been posted to the DIY section) a how to on the muffler install and do's and don'ts for speed things up. Good luck and I love the sound! stacks04 03-09-2007, 08:11 AM most don't have a problem with just exhaust, and or cat delete. codes start after you block the egr. (blocker plate) goes between egr cooler and exhaust pipe. finger stick is a wire harness to send the pcm the mass air flow readings it needs to see for egr operation once it is blocked. see kennedy diesel under vendors section for the best info. look in the tech tips in their website. | ||
