I'm looking to hold 500rwh and found the stage 2 ppe kit is good at 650hp at the crank. Is that a good kit to go with? Anyone have one. Or what would be good to hold 500 horse at the wheels?

I havent heard much about them - but i have heard that the PPE trannys are just suncoasts guts with a different housing. I'm sure it will be a very solid tranny and would hold the HP you want.

It might hold but probably not for long, especially if you plan on towing, pulling or draging with that much power. You would probably have to be very reserved on getting on it alot too. Private message dmaxallitech or Mike L. they know their stuff blind, up-side down and while it's moving @ 300 mph. Or contact the guys at PPE, since they make the kit they should know how their product will hold up.
