A few days ago my seat memory messed up. Turned off truck and the lumbar inflated, seat raised and other settings tweaked. Thought to myself that my friends at work must of changed my exit seat position. Reset it and my driver 1 position and didnt think much of it. Now I am having to reset those daily. I finally tonight turned off all recall options in the DIC. Any thoughts of as to why this could be going haywire?

At the risk of sounding stupid; Did you grab the wrong remote by mistake? If not, then did you add any electronic or electric stuff to your truck recently? If so, recheck where you tapped in and make sure you have good connections. . . Noise in the system might be causing inadvertant signals.

There is a new module being made to correct a few memory problems. They are also requesting data from vehicles with the problem you describe. If you bring to the dealer have them read administrative message #VSS20040231. They probably won't be able to fix it right now but your data could help the engineers fix it.Edited by: GMCSID

Not using the other remote as we dont have it readily available. Since my wife doesnt drive the truck I have the spare locked away.

Thanks for the admin message number. The seat memory is on my list of things to get to the dealer for.

I've had this problem for 5 months; the dealer finally replaced the door and seat modules; seems to have fixed the problem.

Does anyone have a copy of the administrative message? My mirrors screw up every time I back up. I've had to disable the turn down feature so they stay where they are supposed to.
