Looking for a Suncoast or comparable for my LBZ. Talked to Gilette and they have not done a 6 speed yet and didn't seem too confident about quoting power handling capabilities. Has anyone had one done in Utah or close to here?

I haven't had mine done yet but I've heard good thinks about Kelly. He works for Larry H. Miller but has his own shop. His username is (goodwrench). He did rockymtnmax's tranny and he loves it. If everything goes as planned I'll be calling him pretty soon.

what part of utah? theres a guy down here in utah county that does really good work, builds a lot of race trannies, even has his own rail dragsters, PRTC is the name of the shop.

goodrnch has built one of my trans for me and does super work. i will be pulling my trans from my dually and brining it back to him for another allison built for me.

goodrnch has also done my trans and i would say he does awsome work and had it done super quick.

Gillett Diesel built my trans with a 1057 & SC4 kit and would highly recomend them and that set up.

Sounds like Kelly is doing a great job, I've heard MikeL talk about him a few times. I did not relize he was doing so many ally's I also didn't know he was a suncoast dealer. Mike called him a while back for me cause I needed some bell housing gaskets and he had them. I picked them up from were he worked but never got to meet him though.
