Didn't have time to put the speed loader in due to it being such a PITA to run the harnesses through that grommet in the fire wall.:mad: Other than that install was simple. Not looking forward to running more wires through that grommet tomorrow when I install the speed loader though:( schulte 03-07-2007, 02:22 AM You'll love the 6gun, it was awesome when I had mine. How big a hole did you drill in the firewall? IMO, drill it as big as you might ever need now before you start to get to many wires in it, and get a good rubber gasket to keep the wires off the sheet metal. You'll want to add something later on that'll need a wire through the firewall, and you'll really kick yourself later if you have to pull everything out and drill it larger. There's a grommet in the firewall from the factory... Siphon 03-07-2007, 11:57 AM Once you get the two halves of the grommet separated you can slide the part that sticks through the firewall backwards along the wires further into the cab. This makes dealing with it a little easier. Put the two halves back together and slide it back towards the firewall again, then you can just grab it from the engine compartment side and pull it into place. If you try and mess with getting it back in place without having the two halves together first it'll really cause you some frustration. ijakers 03-08-2007, 12:14 AM I went through the factory grommet in the fire wall. I didn't realize it split into two pieces though.
