I took my 86 6.2L Suburban in for a knock that is happening at low to mid RPM then disappears at higher Speed's. Sometimes it goes away all together. I have no smoking and good gas milage.The shop said it's prob. a leaky injector and they want to replace them. Could this be the problem or I'm I getting taken?

With the 200K you reported in an earlier post and if original set, you are due; this is an easy self-do project, just a little time and elbow grease, several vendors sell remans for a decent price. Edited by: Turbine Doc

Unplug your cold advance solenoid and see if it still happens, 6.2s have a tendency to short the temp sender and run the cold advance all the time.
