i took my truck playing in the mud a little and got it pretty dirty. i didnt get a chance to wash it until a couple days later. when it dried there were spots left where the chunks of mud were. the truck has just recently been painted (4 or 5 months ago) i was wondering what would be the best thing to remove these spots? i tried a little wax but that didnt do it. im not going to wet sand it or anything like that just maybe try some of that scratch-x or something similar from wal mart. any opinions?

try maguiars cleaner wax, if that dont work tax a ultra fine steel wool pad and cover it in it and very carefully go over spots. cleaner wax should do trick. sometimes time and lots of washing is bed. i wouldnt wet sand, thats a little extreme imo

id assume the spots are from left over dirt on your paint. did you try washing it again? id try that first before you do anything else. clay bar will also work but jsut make sure there are not big dirt particles lift, as i said washi it again. if there is still dirt left on your paint, waxing it will do nothing but harm.
