Where are you located? Here in SW Ont Stanadyne is available at diesel injector/pump service shops.

Its primrose and FPPF that I haven't found in Ontario.

I found this place to be one of the cheaper places to buy it online. You have to buy a few bottles at a time though to make it worth your while to cover the shipping. Right now they have a special, buy 5 bottles and get the 6th one free.

maybe you've already done it but....www.stanadyne.com .....they have a dealer locator on the web site. I went to a local diesel injector shop that was listed through the locator...

I forgot to include this but they have a performance formula and a performance formula junior.... the junior includes the cetane improver and is in the blue bottle. The pints are more expensive but the bottles are all premarked with both a measure on one side and the gallons they treat on the other. So they are convient at the pump.

I use Stanadyde because it had multiple recommends, including my dealer. Probably the same reason you use primrose.....Anyway I included link above for fun....all the diesel info you can want and more

stanadyne will give you rust......

I used Stanadyne in my 98 6.5 (with no rust) and in my 03 since it was new. For the 03 I've changed the OEM filter 4 times, the Stanadyne FM100 Prefilter 3 times, and my Mega Filter once. I've cut them all open and they are all shiny clean inside - no rust or residue. I know some folks have found rusty deposits in their filters. However, I don't think it's caused by the Stanadyne (which also contains rust inhibitors). IMHO, these depostis are either from sediment in the suppliers bulk tank or a filter that was "pre-rusted" when it was installed. Or... maybe I'm just lucky...http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Approve.gif
