Anyone installing clutch and converter mods on an '01 to early '03 Ally needs to replace this bushing. It is critical to the life of your converter. Old ones were brass, neww ones are teflon coated.

If one instaled a kit with the old bushing, how long would be too long to leave it in there? What did this busshing look like?(color wise)

If you have a non Teflon coated bushing ( brass) you must change this bushing. If your bushing looks like the one Daryl shows ( teflon coated) you are probably allright. I would even check the Teflon bushing for wear. I trust nothing to chance.
