My dealer was recommending that the Radiator be flushed and that the dex-cool was having problems and not good for 100k. (Service manager told me this) So I took it in to be flushed. When I came to pick it up I was informed that they were not able to do this.(said they did not have the equipment to do so. They said they checked the ph on it and that it was OK) Is this legitimate and do I need to have this done. My truck has about 34k on it. Thanks

I agree with Eric. They just want to flush your wallet. The only problem with Dex-Cool is how it reacts to air. If the cooling system is low the Dex-Cool starts to form sludge. Just maintain the level and it should be fine for 100k.
