they're only a 4 cylinder deisel. or a 6 liter gas so they not wining any speed races. I'm looking at it for my lawn crew.

I see a lot of the 2 door versions running around. They make great landscaper vehicles with a beavertail bed on them. My neighbor runs a 2door version with a 9' dump bed and pulls a 2 axle landscaper trailer. He's a one-man show!


Are they much more than the 2 door version? You may be better off with running two vehicles (6-8 people) to haul the crew rather than find one (only 5). Most guys running a larger crew have a crew cab PU hauling an enclosed trailer...

AC isn't a big deal for me if I could have gotten my Duramax with out it I would have. And from all posts looks like it doesn't work well any ways. I think I had mine on one time this year and I had the windows open.


I think they seat 6 or 7, 3 in front and 3 or 4 in back the website sucks on them they don't have much info on them as far as price goes.

We have a boat load of the W3500s at work, Landscaping, we use them as spray rigs, landscape trucks and intsall trucks. They seem to work well, we have 90K on ours and it seems to run ok, has a weird missfire at idle for the first few seconds but thats it. Runs strong empty but loaded, well.....I've seen Kias pull away from me. Again this is a regular cab not a crew so I can bet i'd be slower with the extra weight. If it were my company, I would run a F 550 with 4x4 and a nice dump body with a trailer.

Seen a couple of them at the Med duty GMC dealer here in town. Dunno much about them though
