I don't know how far off your speedo is but when I put 265's on my 07 the speedo is dead on now and matches my GPS indicated speed. If yours is off you will need to have the computer recalibrated for a different tire size. I am told most of the tuners on the market will allow you to make these changes.

Well i was just assuming the spedo was off, havent checked it, i guess if the spedo is dead on then the rest is too, right? why did't the tire change make your spedo off?

There is only a 4% difference in circumference between the stock 245's and 265's. I did not check my speedo with the stock tires but it had to be reporting fast by approximately 4% for it to be correct now. If you have a GPS it will report the speed independently of the drive train and will remain accurate regardless of the tires. Do some checking on your speedo before you change anything. Don't just assume it is wrong make sure.

Ok thanks, i didn't know the difference was so slight, and that they are off from the factory. I will def check before changing.
