I ahve been trying to reply to your PM, but the site keeps telling me your user name cannot be found. I used the reply button from your post, and even tried a new one and entered your name, then tried a search and selected you from the list. No of it worked.
Just wanted to let you know I was trying to reply.

Hello Brian,
Have you ever set the armature travel on a DS-4? I am working up to doing it and wondered if you could help me?

Do you have a magnetic base dial indicator? Have you reassembled the FSOL already? Find two bolts that match the size/thread of the head locating bolts that you took out of the pump. thread them in to the two holes that are threaded all the way, bottom them finger tight only and back them out a smidge. use those to mound the head in a vice and the dial indicator to measure recess travel of the rotor in the head once you have it all assembled. Screw the solenoid in until you get it to .005 +/- .0002.

Could you show a picture of the tool that's used to lever the armature through it's travel, TDG? I am pretty good at making little tools and was looking for a visual.

The PM still doesn't work. It may have to do with I cannot get your full user name in the field. the 'c' gets dropped from the end when i hit reply.

I have tried it from a reply to your PM, and by clicking on PM in your posts. Both ways are a nogo.
It says your user name cannot be found in he system.
When it auto fills in your name it leaves the c off the end, and will not let me fill it in.
