I just bought a 2001 CC Dually, with 47K mi.,and was wanting some thoughts about the need for gauges on the truck. I tow a 31ft. 5W that weights about 11K loaded. In the near future I would like to add the 4in. exhaust and a programer/chip for more HP/TQ.You thoughts and opinions please, Kent.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Approve.gif

Gauges seem to be a must if you are towing. I was really surprised at how hot it can get real fast when towing and nothing from the factory telling you to back off. I added so Isspro guages from Kennedy Diesel to keep an eye on EGT and Boost. Still debating about the exhaust and a chip at this point. It runs pretty good stock. If I add a chip it will be the Edge. Unlike me, if you do decide to go with the Edge, you can skip the guages and use the Attitude Monitor instead.
