Please forgive me for not searching this all out but I could not find it all in the owners manual and I am watching both kids tonight so my "Search" time was limited.

Engine Oil, confirm 10 quarts please

Allison Tranny, 22 quarts with filter? damn http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Dead.gif

Transfer case, ??? no clue. Type fluid and how much please.

I am going to have my first maintenance session with my rig (48,500, used) 2003 model tomorrow and I need to know what to buy at the Auto Bone.

Thanks!

10 is correct on engine oil, but you will not get 22 out of the tranny unless you do a flush (look at Hoot how to do a complete change) it works. don't know about the transfer case cause Im a 2wd. Hope this helps.

Not planning on flushing the tranny.....just a drain and filter. 20-21 then?

OK, 2 quarts in the Tcase.....same stuff as the auto tranny?

If your just draining the stock pan about 7.5 quarts the deep pan adds little over 3 additional quarts.

The T-case takes the same fluid.

How can I tell if I have the deep pan?

It doesen't come stock with one. Some have changed after purchase.

Did you buy it new? Then it has a shallow pan.

wonrog: change your fuel filter and pray it has been done before 48500 miles. This is real important. Also rear end fluid takes 4 quarts, many come through with a little over 2 quarts in them. Just thought I would bring these items up, I guess you should do it all while your at it.

Yep, do your front and rear diff. JMO but I would run syn atf in the transfer case, 2 quarts so its cheap. mobil 1 is what I use. syn 75 90 weight front and rear.

regular dino dex 3 in the trans.

Dont forget the doughnut magnet on the ally spin on filter.
