I would like to here from a few what there base lines were. No modifications done to anything(air box, chips, tranny, etc.).

My base line was 240.67HP & 404.28TQ. This was done inside a building with proper ventilation(4' fan in front of radiator) , 75degs inside, tech II to lock tranny, O.D. disengaged.

Three runs were done and with-in the same results.

Is this a good base line or should I be getting better?

The readings with the HYPER were 318.04HP & 506.11TQ.

These results are poor, I think. I've tried talking to HYPER and comparing there results, but they wouldn't say anything. They are to busy right now to check into it. They have to many new products that they are working on to worry about it. I guess their customer service is as good as BANKS. Think I might be switching to a Predator.

My Baseline avg's 235-245HP and 415-440TQ stock.

With a older v4.61 Hot OJ I would get consistant 375-390HP and 775-800TQ.....

The hypertech is not making much TQ from the numbers posted......http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif

I have not done any dyno's on mine but I have read many topics that say stock hp was 242. I am not sure what type of dyno it was on.

My base with nothing, here in the mile high is 216hp. Can't remember the torque. With the TTS on the lowest setting it is 295hp (80hp). Hoewever I did also get a 280 at a dyno day here not to long ago which was the lowest I ever got with this program on the basement setting. On the high setting (Extreme) I got 472 and 1017fpt on #2 only. These were all done on a Mustang dyno. I don't know how much the Hyper should be setting at at your altitude. I would think by your base you should be sitting at around 320-330 with it.

Pure Diesel,

At the link below you will find the results of the LA Dyno Event that Mike_L put together last February. Search the "Notes" column for the trucks that were run stock. There were numerous runs. The HP/TQ numbers were measured on a Dynojet. Your baseline numbers look in the ballpark.

I switched from Hypertech to Predator. You will like the predator better even on it's 86 hp setting it feels like more power than the Hypertech's 90. I have not dyno'ed it and probably won't ever. It's hard to find one in Arkansas. Good luck!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif
