A few days ago i started my truck and my instrument cluster where it indicates park reverse and drive and mileage does not work anymore but all other gauges works fine just wondering if anyone of you guys have had this problem and whats the solution the chevy dealer here says they have to send it away to get it fix and will cost between $200-$300. .:eek:

The cluster will have to be repaired. The dealer prices includes their markup for sending it to one of the companies you can send it to yourself. I am not sure who would be the best bet for Canada. Search for "cluster repair" and watch the location info for the members.

Did your truck shift into gear as usual?
IIRC, the gear selector acting like that could likely be the NSBU switch on the transmission starting to fail.
