This is my first time posting. I have been looking and reading alot of info and is very helpful. I cant seem to find any info on airbag installation with pictures .I also was wondering about spacer size for 4 inch lift on a 2006 2500 HD 4x4 cc ?I would like to install myself because I called a couple local shops and they charge between $600- $700 for manual airbags. Any info would be appreciated.

Where are you from ?
Are you wanting a bag from the frame to axle or frame to top of spring pack?

I have bag kits for about $290.00 + spacers.

I'm pulling my T case in the morning. I have my digital camera and I'll try to take a couple of pictures of my air bags.

I have been looking at air bags and firstones and airlift . I want to mount on top of the axle not on to spring pack. As far as air bag spacers I am not sure if I need 2 inch or 3 inch spacers , because of 2.5 inch tapered rear block on my rancho lift. Is there anyother way of mounting them with brackets or is it best to use spacers? Any help would be appreciated.

i have air lifts and they are mounted on the axle, i like them mounted there better than on top of the leafs. i would go with a 3" spacer if you dont have any added weight in the bed, like a full tool box or any thing like that, but if you do have more added weight and the rear end is alittle lower than stock i would go with just a 2". but really either one will work with no problems. i have a 1" block and have no issues with mine.

Z71offroader you have one inch blocks . Do you have a spacers or is the airbags just direct? Do you have any pictures or any problems with add weight. I tow a ragen 5th wheel toy hauler. That would be the only extra weight I would have. It just sagged to much when I hooked up .

Here's a pic of mine with out spacers. Ignore the fact that they are off center. I fixed that.

i have no spacers, since it was only 1", the smallest spacer they make is a 2". i have no problems with added weight, i tow pretty regularly with either a 18ft car hauler or a 31ft gooseneck. i dnt have any pics of them currently but i could get u some if you would like.

Thanks for the info guys I appreciate your time . I think I am going with 2 inch spacers and air lift or firestone air bags they seemed to be the same. I am trying to find the best pricing and hope I get them on before easter .

wanadmxsub how did you staighten out those air bags? Do you have any pictures of them fixed? Z71Offroad could you send some pictures of your airbags? I just was looking at a couple of friends airbags and they all look like they are not straight they look kind of off centered are they all like that or do you have to adjust them?
