http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif Has it ever been dynoed? I here lots of things good and bad about other products around here, but I never see a dyno sheet proving anything. All jokes aside! Why do they sell things and boast numbers or improvements if it hasnt been tested?

I like the way it adds "spin" to the intake charge. Or was that "spin" to your wallet

CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG BUT DONT THE INJECTORS ON A DMAX ENTERED DIRRECTLY INTO CUMBUSTION CHAMBER. IF SO THAT WOULD BE ABSOLUTELY USELESS. REASON THEY WANT AIR TO SPIN IS TO MIX WITH FUEL, SO IF THE FUEL IS BEING ADDED DIRECTLY TO CUMBUSTION CHAMBER AND NOT THROTTLE BODDY OR CARB THERE IS NO FUEL IN INTAKE TO " SPIN " WITH. HUH

I will call Airaid and get them to send me one so that I have it dynoed and see if it will make ANY difference at all. Just for grins and see what happens. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Evil Smile.gif

I would if I had access to a dyno. Seriously, lets see some dyno info on these things. Not just this, but everything. I am sick of hearing about all the power some have, but no proof. I would be happy to show my sheet from Cozzilinos in Indy. 360 with a mild edge box with attitude. I was happy.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cool.gif

Most tuners have been dyno'd and sheets have been posted along with many stacks, try a search in the GTG and PAP forums.

As far as Air Cleaners and Exhaust no gains. We tested a Stock DMAX installed a AFE naft!

That thing is junk. Why would you pay money to add turbulence to an intake system that does not have any fuel to keep in suspension. All it could possibly do is add more backpressure to the intake system.

Ok talked to Airaid this morning, to the Tech guy. I was interested in getting one of these to dyno like I said I would in an earlier thread. So I call him tell him who I am and that I run a shop and want to have him send me on for free to dyno and would like to be able to praise the results of this thing...This is what he told me and I quoted the best I could remember, he was talking fast and I did not write it all down but here goes...

This is straight from him, "You will not see any improvements in HP or Torque as stated on the website, I am not sure why they have it posted like that. You will however see an improvement in MPG (fuel efficiency). I, nor Airaid can guarantee this as we do not dyno these out, but we have had reports that there was an improvement in low rpm torque (did not say how they knew) and better mpg."

Well there you have it boys and girls... They post it and sell it and mis-represent it... Now you buy it and you will just follow the masses...

It looks like they took all of their findings for the gassers and just pasted it on the Duramax section.

I could also get better fuel mileage if I just put a stronger spring on the throtle (cost about $5.00), but that wouldn't be any fun.

Do you think I can advertise my BULL BALLS on a site that claim to make power in all rpm levels, and get people to buy them?http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif

BLUE BALLS make horsepower.......http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif back a couple years ago on a 355 I was running in a drag car, I was in need of a 2" spacer to go between the carb and intake. Local speed shop talked me into buying a "Super Sucker" plate. In the directions it stated that it showed no improvement on the dyno. But, they advised to lower all jets by .004". On the track, it lowered the ET by 3.5 tenths. And I did have to lower the jets, to correct the a/f. I dont believe that such a device would ever work on a turbo engine gas or diesel.
