Slapshot 09-01-2004, 11:18 AM No it's not a bomb - it's a 6.5! My 6.5 has developed a regular tick after startup. It goes away when up to temperature. I am thinking a bad valve lifter. Comments? Do the 6.5's need regular valve adjustments like the old Cummins? Hope it isn't fatal - we had a killing frost here 10 days ago and our crops are varying degrees of TOAST. No money for new truck this year!
