I was cruising down the road last night and my edge alarm went off. My EGT's where at 1500 up and down. I was only running about 65 and my engine temp was 185 and rpm' s around 2000. Is this a truck problem or a probe problem? Really scared me!! Any help would be great.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif

Make sure all of your intake and turbo connections are tight. If the clamps are not tight or a tube has come off your EGT's will sky rocket just cruising around.

Probably an edge problem. Mine just went hay wire on the egt side a couple of weeks ago. Pull it out and send it back. They sent me a brand new one with the latest version. My new one has a different egt probe. The fitting are stainless steel not brass. It also comes out of the fitting with a 90 degree bend in it.

This is a great example of why it's a good idea to install gauges in your truck, Edge Attitude or not...
