Guys, I am new to the site and now the owner of a 2001 regular cab, long bed 2500HD with 78000 on the ticker. Had the truck about a month and had the infamous reverse and 3rd light come on and stuck in third. Went to my local allison dealer, $55 and 35 minutes later problem all fixed. BTW the old switch was the new style and lasted less than 35k miles. Primarily going to use the truck to tow 12-13k

My point is this, if it weren't for this site and the guys on it this would have cost me a whole lot more than $55 bucks and a little of my time. Thanks. As I get to know my truck I hope to be able to contribute as well as use the information on this site.
